Agreement to terms

By accessing or using RankingIQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. RankingIQ is operated by Aptflow Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17236387.

Description of service

RankingIQchecks where a website you control appears in Google search results for searches you choose, reads the website’s pages, and generates advice about what to change or create on it. Changes you record are compared against the positions that follow.

The service is an informational tool. Advice produced by the platform consists of suggestions generated from search results and page content, and does not constitute professional marketing, legal, or commercial advice.

No guarantee of rankings

Google alone decides search rankings, and nobody, including us, controls or can promise them. You acknowledge that:

• We do not guarantee that any search position will improve, hold, or recover, whether or not you follow the advice produced by the platform
• Advice is generated from the search results and page content visible at the time, and what works can change as Google changes
• Recorded positions reflect what our checks observed, and results can vary by location, device, and personalisation
• You are solely responsible for changes you make to your website, including any effect they have on its performance

Service availability

RankingIQ makes reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but does not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption, error, or delay.

Checking, crawling, and advice generation depend on third-party data and AI providers outside our direct control, and on your website being reachable. Temporary unavailability may cause missed or delayed checks. Where a scheduled check is missed, we make reasonable efforts to catch up on the following runs, and accept no liability for losses arising from gaps in the record.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

Your website and your searches

• You may only add a website that you own or are authorised to manage, and you confirm that authority when you add it
• Competitor domains you name are observed only as they appear in public search results
• We read your website the way a search engine would, respecting our crawl scope, and you can ask us to stop at any time by removing the site

User accounts

Account registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service
• One account per person or business entity

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Add websites you do not own or have authority to manage
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to our platform without permission
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute the service or its output without prior written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring, advice generation, or systems
• Create multiple accounts or sites to obtain repeated free trials
• Overload our systems through excessive or automated requests

The free trial

• New accounts receive a 14 day free trial with no payment card required
• The trial includes daily checking with a reduced search allowance, stated at signup
• When the trial ends, the service pauses unless you choose a paid plan. Nothing is charged automatically, because no card was taken
• One trial per person, business, or website. We may end or restrict trials that appear to abuse this

Subscription and payment terms

Pricing

• Prices are displayed in GBP and are the total charged. Aptflow Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added and no VAT invoice is issued
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Monthly subscriptions

• Billed monthly on your signup date through our payment provider
• Your plan sets how many searches are watched and how often they are checked, and how frequently fresh advice can be generated
• Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle

Refund policy

• Monthly subscriptions: refunds considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of charge
• No refunds for partial month usage

Data accuracy and disclaimers

We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but provide no warranty, express or implied, as to the completeness, reliability, timeliness, or accuracy of any position, score, or piece of advice.

• Search positions are observed through a third-party data provider and can differ from what an individual user sees
• AI-generated advice may misread pages, miss context, or produce suggestions that do not work
• Scores are indicators built from what the platform can measure, not professional assessments
• Always apply your own judgement before changing your website

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RankingIQ and its operators exclude all liability for:

• Any loss or damage arising from reliance on positions, scores, or advice produced by the platform
• Business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity arising from use of the service
• Changes in search rankings, traffic, or business performance, whatever their cause
• Changes you make to your website, including those following advice from the platform
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed data from third-party providers
• Service interruptions, missed checks, or delays caused by third-party providers or your website’s availability
• Any indirect, consequential, special, or economic loss of any kind

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers, including search data providers, AI model providers, website crawling infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processors. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of these providers.

How personal data moves through these providers is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

All platform content, scoring methodology, advice generation, and branding are owned by Aptflow Ltd. Your website and its content remain entirely yours, including any changes you make to it, whether or not they follow our advice.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute platform output commercially without prior written permission
• Internal business use for your own website and decision-making is permitted

Changes to terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 14 days notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
